Thank you for visiting our Six Mile Baptist Church website. Six Mile Baptist Church is located approximately 8 miles south of Hemphill on Highway 87, in the piney woods of East Texas. We are less than a mile from the beautiful shores of Lake Toledo Bend. GREAT COMMISSION: MATTHEW 28:19 – 20 :“GO YE THEREFORE AND TEACH ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY GHOST; TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU; AND LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD.” THE
GREAT COMMANDMENT: MATTHEW 22: 37 – 39: “THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, WITH ALL THY SOUL AND WITH ALL THY MIND. THIS IS THE FIRST AND GREAT COMMANDMENT.
